Selling your car at our Oldham branch

Located less than a mile from the M60, our Oldham branch is both easy to locate and offers ample free parking. Made famous as the greatest cotton spinning town in the world, it is only apt that our offices are set in a renovated mill. Today Oldham is a modern and pleasant town, boasting 3 shopping malls with plenty of refurbishment. Set high in the Pennine Hills overlooking the Cheshire Plain, the town is just 8 miles north-east of Manchester city centre and boasts plenty of open countryside.

What happens when I arrive to sell my car?

You'll usually be met by Phil Turner, who manages our Oldham branch.  Phil will firstly check your documentation to ensure you have the correct documents and proofs of identity and will then conduct a short inspection of your car to check its condition.  This usually takes around ten minutes. You can accompany Phil while your car is given the once over.

How will I be able to get home once I've sold my car?

Most customers bring a friend or relative along to give them a lift home but if you need to use public transport, you'll be pleased to know that there are plenty of options.

• Taxi - Phil will be happy to arrange for a local taxi firm to collect you
• Train - Hollinwood Rail Station is less than a mile from our branch
• Bus - Bus stops are within easy reach along the A62 (Oldham Road)

Once I've sold my car, when will I receive my money?

All of our payments are made by electronic bank transfer for security reasons - it's simply not safe or practical to pay by cash!  Our standard payment service is BACS which takes 3-4 working days.  Alternatively, we can arrange a CHAPS payment.  With CHAPS, the money will clear into your bank account on the next working day.  This is a popular service and attracts a small fee to cover the additional bank charges involved.
