Selling your car at our Cardiff branch

Our Cardiff branch is located on Cardiff Road at the Ty-Verlon Industrial Estate Business Centre in Barry. A short drive from the M4 motorway, we're easy to find and have ample free parking. Relax in our comfortable offices whilst our team inspect your car and arrange payment. Cardiff is a city of contrast, where innovative architecture sits alongside historic buildings and the bustle of the city centre is just a stones throw from peaceful parkland.

• Head along the Ely bypass to Culverhouse Cross
• Exit the Ely bypass at Culverhouse Cross and follow the signs for Barry/Airport
• Pass Wenvoe and follow the signs for Barry Docks
• Go pass Lidl and at the next roundabout turn right at McDonalds
• Immediately turn right into the Ty-Verlon Industrial Estate
• Follow the road to the Business Centre

What happens when I arrive to sell my car?

You'll usually be met by Ash Davies/Norrie Penman, who manages our Cardiff branch.  Ash will firstly check your documentation to ensure you have the correct documents and proofs of identity and will then conduct a short inspection of your car to check its condition.  This usually takes around ten minutes. You can accompany Ash while your car is given the once over.

How will I be able to get home once I've sold my car?

Most customers bring a friend or relative along to give them a lift home but if you need to use public transport, you'll be pleased to know that there are plenty of options.

• Taxi - Ash will be happy to arrange for a local taxi firm to collect you
• Train - Dinas Powys Train Station is 1.9 miles from our branch
• Bus - Bus routes 93, 94 and 95 operate from Cardiff Road

Once I've sold my car, when will I receive my money?

All of our payments are made by electronic bank transfer for security reasons - it's simply not safe or practical to pay by cash!  Our standard payment service is BACS which takes 3-4 working days.  Alternatively, we can arrange a CHAPS payment.  With CHAPS, the money will clear into your bank account on the next working day.  This is a popular service and attracts a small fee to cover the additional bank charges involved.
