The Hottest New Cars For 2016

Rolls Royce Dawn

It’s fair to say the last 12 months have seen car makers all over the globe unleashing a steady stream of beautiful new vehicles, from the magnificent Audi R8 V10 to the first ever right hand drive Mustang, there’s been plenty to lust after on the UK’s roads. So with 2016 just round the corner, what do we have to look forward to in the motoring year ahead?

Alfa Romeo Giulia

Built to rival the premium saloons from those big 3 German manufacturers, Audi, BMW and Mercedes this ones a real looker. It’s not just a pretty face either, with its 50:50 weight distribution and twin-turbo V6 engine expect the usual exhilarating drive we’ve come to expect from Alfas.

Aston Martin DB11

Aston Martin made a real splash in 2015 with their specially built DB10 for the new James Bond film Spectre (pictured). Expect a car with similarly dashing looks when the DB11 lands in 2016.

Bentley Bentayga

A first foray in to the SUV market for Bentley and it’s a real record breaker as the new Bentayga promises to be the fastest car in its class with an impressive top speed of 187mph.

Ford  GT

Built to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Ford GT racing cars, this powerhouse will produce over 600bhp and looks incredible to boot. Many Happy Returns!

Honda NSX

The reimagining of the Honda NSX has been a long time coming, but 10 years after the last few rolled off the production line, it’s back. This is a machine with some real racing heritage as well, the original iteration took design tips from the late Aryton Senna, and from what we know so far it looks like this hybrid powered supercar will be well worth the wait.

Lamborghini Huracan Spyder

“Designed to cut through the air and become one with the sky” it sounds more like Lamborghini have made a jet than a plane. Whether you like the marketing speak or not it’s hard not fall in love with the angular good looks of the Huracan Spyder.

Rolls-Royce are calling it the sexiest machine they’ve ever built, and I’d venture the sight of this stunning 4 seater convertible is going to get people more than a bit hot under the collar. The view ain’t bad from behind the wheel either with that luxury trim that Rolls simply do best.

McLaren 540C

This is McLaren’s cheapest ever supercar, although it’s priced from £126,000 so I’ll still be saving my pocket money awhile before I can pick one up. Still you can expect to see the 540C hit the roads in early 2016, and it’s nice to dream.
