Selling your car at our Ipswich branch

Located to the south east of the town, less than a mile from the A14, the branch is both easy to locate and boasts ample free parking. Perhaps celebrate your hassle free sale on the Ipswich waterfront. What happens when I arrive to sell my car?

You'll usually be met by Bruno Ferreira, who manages our Ipswich branch.  Bruno will firstly check your documentation to ensure you have the correct documents and proofs of identity and will then conduct a short inspection of your car to check its condition.  This usually takes around ten minutes. You can accompany Bruno while your car is given the once over.

How will I be able to get home once I've sold my car?

Most customers bring a friend or relative along to give them a lift home but if you need to use public transport, you'll be pleased to know that there are plenty of options.

• Taxi - Bruno will be happy to arrange for a local taxi firm to collect you
• Train - Derby Road train station is just 2.5 miles away
• Bus - Our branch is a 5 minute walk from the local bus route on Nacton Road and Felixstowe Road

Once I've sold my car, when will I receive my money?

All of our payments are made by electronic bank transfer for security reasons - it's simply not safe or practical to pay by cash!  Our standard payment service is BACS which takes 3-4 working days.  Alternatively, we can arrange a CHAPS payment.  With CHAPS, the money will clear into your bank account on the next working day.  This is a popular service and attracts a small fee to cover the additional bank charges involved.
