Why it’s better to sell than part-exchange

Thinking of buying a newer car in 2010? You may want to consider selling instead of part exchanging your car instead. Whilst a part-ex can seem like an easy option, it can leave you £££s out of pocket...

• Most car dealerships specialise in just one or two car makes - and this proves problematic: they can't give an accurate valuation on a car they don't stock and they don't like to have other makes on the forecourt.
