With demand for used 4x4s on the rise, now is a great time to consider selling that off-roader. Which makes and models are fetching the best price? Range Rover and Land Rover both seem to be fairing well, maintaining their value better than some newer hi-spec arrivals in the 4x4 market, such as Mitsubishi and Jeep.

Peugeot goes off-road |

Making its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show is Peugeot's 4007, the manufacturer's first compact all-terrain vehicle. Available in five and seven seater versions, Peugeot's new 2.2 Hdi FAP 156 bhp arrival is laden with engineering, technology and style innovations. A pioneering Dual Clutch System maintains torque to provide a really smooth ride. Whilst six gears tucked away behind the steering wheel provide a more traditional 4x4 experience, an on-board computer adapts for changes in gradient to enhance the drive. With up to 38.7 mpg, the Peugeot 4007 is miles away from the traditional 4x4 gas guzzler and its low emissions make it a good green choice too. |
