Used cars continue to increase in value - now is the time to sell!

Buyer demand creates sellers' market

For most people their most valuable asset after their house, is their car.  While house prices are not particularly good news at the moment, low supply and high demand in the motor trade is causing the value of most used cars to soar!

Continued low sales of new cars and reduced production from many manufacturers in the first half of 2009 means that stocks of used cars are currently in short supply.  At the same time, demand from astute buyers is increasing, pushing prices up!

The result?  Great news for anyone wanting to sell their car!  With demand now outstripping supply on many makes and models, your car could be worth considerably more than it was just a few months ago.  So why not get a free no-obligation valuation today from yours truly?  It could be well worth your while...

With the promise of a long dry summer on the cards, it looks like Audi are about to do the decent thing and introduce a drop top version of their breath-taking R8. Now, besides gob-smacking horsepower and head-turning good looks, the Audi R8 offers wind-in-the-hair thrills and an almost illegal amount of posing power.

Those in the know suggest the soft-top version will be badged the Audi Spider, complete with viewing panel over its 420hp 4.2 V8 engine with a V10 model rumoured to be on the cards.

Downsizing families push up used car prices

Following on from webuyanycar.com's report about growing demand for used cars, comes news that downsizing families could be a fuelling factor.  As cash-strapped parents look to save wherever possible, many are opting for used cars rather than buying new as they might do normally.  Families are also raising cash to fund summer holidays and breaks away.

In fact, reports suggest family drivers are prepared to trade-in both parents' cars in order to buy a single leaner, greener, newer model perhaps with a cash balance into the bargain which all adds extra mileage to the fact that now is a great time to sell!
